Working With TIS

Vendor Partner Guide

As a TIS vendor partner, you represent our company on every job site. This guide outlines what we expect from you—and what you can expect from us.

What You Represent

When you're on a TIS project, you carry our reputation

Our Name Is On the Line

Every interaction you have with a customer, every piece of work you deliver, every safety decision you make—it all reflects on TIS. Our customers trust us to bring in professionals who meet our standards. That trust is why you're here.

We've built our reputation on reliability, quality, and integrity. As a vendor partner, you're an extension of that reputation.

Professional Standards

What We Expect

Non-negotiable requirements for all vendor partners

Safety First—Always

No shortcuts. No exceptions. If something feels unsafe, stop and communicate. We will always back you on safety calls.

Quality Over Speed

We'd rather explain a delay than apologize for poor work. Do it right. If you need more time, tell us early.

Honest Communication

Problems happen. What matters is how quickly we know about them. Bad news early is better than surprises late.

Documentation

Sign JSAs. Log your work. Take photos when required. If it's not documented, it didn't happen.

On-Site Conduct

Customer interactions: Be professional, courteous, and helpful. If a customer has questions outside your scope, direct them to your TIS contact—don't guess or make commitments.

Other trades: Coordinate, don't compete. We're all here to complete the project successfully. Conflicts get resolved on site, not escalated.

Site rules: Follow them. Every customer has their own requirements. Ask if you're unsure.

The standard is simple: Would you be comfortable if the customer saw exactly how you worked and what you said? If yes, you're on track.

What You Can Expect From Us

Our commitments to you as a partner

Fair Partnership

Clear scope. You'll know exactly what's expected before you start. If scope changes, we discuss it—we don't just add work and expect you to absorb it.

Timely payment. We pay on agreed terms. You deliver quality work, you get paid. No games.

Support when needed. If you run into problems on site, we're a phone call away. We don't leave our partners hanging.

Respect & Communication

Your expertise matters. We bring you in because you know your trade. If you see a better way to do something, we want to hear it.

Direct feedback. If there's an issue with your work, you'll hear about it directly and professionally—not through the rumor mill.

Long-term thinking. We prefer ongoing relationships with reliable partners over constantly finding new vendors. Good work leads to more work.

"We succeed together or not at all. Your success on this project is our success."
- TIS Partnership Philosophy

When Issues Arise

Safety concerns: Stop work immediately. Contact your TIS project manager. You will never be penalized for a legitimate safety call.

Scope disputes: Don't proceed with disputed work. Document your position and escalate. We'll resolve it fairly.

Schedule conflicts: Tell us as early as possible. We can usually adjust—but only if we know in time.

Quality issues: If you made a mistake, own it and fix it. If there's a disagreement about quality standards, we discuss it professionally.
